Peer Conferencing that Drives Revision Inquiry

After one year of analyzing student conferencing data and making numerous changes to a peer conferencing protocol, I was still grappling with how peer conferences helped students to revise their writing. This inquiry looks at the changes students made in their writing after participating in several rounds of conferencing. The first year of research really helped me to understand the nature of facilitating these student led conferences and  this inquiry helped me to understand how they support students to make revisions. The focus question for this inquiry is:   How does using a peer conferencing protocol support students with the revising step of the writing process?
