Science and Writing Conceptual Framework

This graphic illustrates my thinking about how science and writer’s workshop can be integrated to generate certain outcomes. After each inquiry students went through the complete writing process to write a report of their science learning. The writing process included: drafting, conferencing, revising, editing and publishing. The green box explains my anticipated outcomes from this type of curricular integration.
